Fall Lessons!

Hi! I’m excited for music lessons to start up again! Thanks for your interest. Please peruse the info below, join our waitlist, and don't hesitate to reach out with questions!

My fall schedule is a little different this year - I work for a church (Sanctuary Church in Marshfield) as their music director and they've given me a sabbatical for the month of October. This means I’ll be doing some traveling that month. I’ll be teaching for 5 weeks in September and the beginning of October (9/9-10/10) and then I’ll be taking a 3 week hiatus from teaching (10/14-10/31), resuming in November.

I’ll be trying to schedule most students on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. If you need a spot on Friday, I’ll be taking a few Friday students.

Anna will be joining the studio this year again as an apprentice teacher! She's a senior in high school, a gifted multi-instrumentalist, and will be teaching piano to some of our younger beginners. Anna will be teaching on Mondays and Wednesdays after 4:30.

Lessons with Anna will be $25 and lessons with me (Sarah) will be $32. All lessons will be 30 minutes. For all students, there will also be a one time materials fee of $30 to help cover the cost of the books and other materials your students will be using this year.

Please use the form below to let me know a little about yourself and / or your young aspiring musicians! I give scheduling priority to returning students and have already begun the process of getting their lesson spots locked in. I'll be in touch with new students about scheduling as soon as possible!

Thanks so much!
-Sarah

OTHER INFO

All students need an instrument for their lessons and to practice with at home. Students will bring their guitars, violins, and ukuleles with them for their lessons as well as the music they're working on. Piano students just need to bring their music with them for their lessons, but should have an instrument at home to practice on.

Students (and their parents) should plan on weekly lessons and regular practice at home. We typically encourage students to practice 5 days a week for 10-15 minutes. But you know what? 5 minutes is better than 0 minutes. What matters is that they practice and that they practice regularly. Make it a part of the weekly schedule. It's that important and you'll get the most out of your time and monetary investment if you plan on regular practice.
