Music Together ®
Now accepting registrations for the spring 2018 semester!
What is Music Together?
Music Together is a research-based, internationally renowned music program for children birth through 5 and their parents, grandparents, or caregivers. Throughout the course of a Music Together semester families will sing songs, play instruments, chant rhythms, and move together in relaxed and playful settings. Infants, toddlers, and preschoolers are able to participate in their own ways and at their own levels in family-style classes of mixed ages and the music is learned through developmentally appropriate activities that support and respect the unique learning styles of young children.
Parents and caregivers are able to contribute to the development of each child's music skills regardless of their own musical abilities and learn how to help that development continue at home.
Every semester features a new collection of songs (there are 9 song collections in all) and each collection includes arrangements of original as well as traditional songs in a wide variety of tonalities, meters, and styles.
Also, and possibily most importantly, Music Together is 45 minutes of pure fun with your child each week!
The Spring Semester at Bornstringed Studio will begin April 27 and will continue for 8 weeks, ending on June 22. This semester will feature the Triangle Collection of songs. Classes will be held at Sanctuary Church in Marshfield on Fridays at 9:15am. Register now or get in touch with Sarah if you have questions.
Spring tuition for the first registered child is $150. Siblings are $100. Siblings who are 6 months or younger at the start of the semester can attend for free! (Please still register young siblings.) Tuition is due at the first class of the semester.
