Music Together ®
The Fall Semester is all booked up! Check back in February to find out about our Spring Semester!
What is Music Together?
Music Together is a research-based, internationally renowned music program for children birth through 5 and their parents, grandparents, or caregivers. Throughout the course of a Music Together semester families will sing songs, play instruments, chant rhythms, and move together in relaxed and playful settings. Infants, toddlers, and preschoolers are able to participate in their own ways and at their own levels in family-style classes of mixed ages and the music is learned through developmentally appropriate activities that support and respect the unique learning styles of young children.
Parents and caregivers are able to contribute to the development of each child's music skills regardless of their own musical abilities and learn how to help that development continue at home.
Every semester features a new collection of songs (there are 9 song collections in all) and each collection includes arrangements of original as well as traditional songs in a wide variety of tonalities, meters, and styles.
Also, and possibily most importantly, Music Together is 45 minutes of pure fun with your child each week!
Our teacher Sarah is having a baby in November and will be taking the winter semester off. Her current plan is to come back in March or April for a 10-week spring semester. If you'd be interested in hearing about tuition and class options when the information first comes out, join our mailing list!
